Untitled Document KATHMANDU, July 25 (Xinhua) Third time world record holder Rohit Timilsina from Nepal has again registered his name in the Guinness Book of World Record for the fourth time as he shook hands for 19 hours and 35 minutes on Saturday, according to the official website of GBWR.

Timilsina shook hands with his brother Santosh Timilsina to keep his name in the Record Book. Timilsina brothers had started to shake hands from 3:25 p.m. on July 23. By shaking hand, Timilsina wanted to spread the message of lasting peace and brotherhood through this record.

The brothers broke the record of Mathew Rosen and Joe Ackerman for 15 hours 30 minutes 45 seconds held on Nov.21, 2009. Timilsina has the record of holding 21 tennis balls in one hand on June 14, 2008. On Dec. 21, 2009 Timilsina held the record of kissing 116 people out of which 20 percent were the HIV-infected persons. His third record was holding 24 golf balls in 30 seconds for 3 minutes 52 seconds on May 15, 2010.

Kathmandu: A 25-year-old Nepalese school teacher has entered the Guinness Book of World Records for holding 21 tennis balls in his single palm for a record 14.32 seconds.

Rohit Timilsina successfully held 21 lawn tennis balls on his pal for 14.32 seconds, breaking the previous record held by a French national Arnand Deschamp who had held 19 tennis balls for just 10 seconds.

Timilsina, a school teacher by profession, who is also a karate black belt holder had nurtured the unusual dream of recording his name in the Guinness book, since he was a class 8 student. Timilsina had publicly demonstrated his skills on June 14, 2008 at the Satdobato Lawn Tennis Court in the presence of Supreme Court registrar and journalists.

He is, however, not satisfied with his performance and says he wants to set new records in volleyball, foot ball and gulf, if the government provided support. Many Nepalese has set world records in mountaineering but very few has done it in other sector. Pratistha Bishta has set world record in Memory power.
