आफ्नै खर्चमा अन्तरराष्ट्रिय स्तरको कराँते प्रतियोगितामा भाग लिन गएका प्रकाश गुरुङले रजत पदक जितेका छन् । लमजुङको नौथर गाउँ विकास समिति वडा नम्बर २ शेराका १६ बषिर्य प्रकाश गुरुङले भारतको राजस्थान स्थित उदयपुरमा भएको प्रतियोगितामा ५५ केजी तौल समुहमा प्रतिस्पर्धामा रजत पदक हात पारेका हुन । विभिन्न देशका प्रतियोगिहरुले भाग लिएको 'अन्तरराष्ट्रिय कराँते प्रतियोगिता २०१०'
